About the Artist

Prabha Karunarathna is a passionate visual artist whose creative journey began at the age of eight. With nearly a decade of experience, she uniquely blends her artistic vision with a strong foundation in design, holding a background in Fashion Designing from the Open University.

Specializing in customized art for interior concepts, Prabha has spent the last three years collaborating with interior designers to bring complex ideas to life. In 2024, she established Gallery 56, a dedicated space to exhibit her growing portfolio and engage with the art community.

Currently refining her craft under renowned artist Professor Chandraguptha Thenuwara and studying as an external student at the University of Fine Arts, she views painting as both a professional pursuit and a profound form of emotional expression and relaxation.
