About the Artist

About

She is a visual artist with nearly 10 years of experience in painting. Her journey in art began at the age of eight, and since then, painting has become an inseparable part of her life.

Over the years, she has travelled widely, attending workshops with fellow young artists in Montmartre, Paris (2023), Chiang Mai, Thailand (2024), and Jaipur, India (2026).

Experience

She holds a diploma in Visual Arts and has also studied Fashion Designing at the Open University. These academic pursuits have enabled her to blend artistic expression with a strong sense of design.

For the past three years, she has collaborated with interior designers, creating customized paintings based on their unique concepts. Bringing their visions to life and meeting their expectations through her artwork has been a deeply rewarding experience.

In 2025, she opened her own gallery, Gallery 56, offering a dedicated space to showcase her work and connect with fellow art enthusiasts.

She is currently studying under Professor Chandraguptha Thenuwara, whose mentorship continues to shape her skills and deepen her understanding of fine art.

She is also currently pursuing a Diploma in Drawing and Painting at the University of the Visual and Performing Arts, driven by a deep passion for art. She believes this program will provide the academic foundation and creative exposure necessary to further evolve as an artist.

Painting for her is not just a profession — it is a way to relax, express herself, and connect with the world around her.
